Redwood County East of Lyon County sits Redwood County. It is home to the beautiful Redwood Falls that are enjoyed by many adventurers each year. Communities located in Redwood County include Belview, Clements, Delhi, Lamberton, Lucan, Milroy, Morgan, Redwood Falls, Revere, Sanborn, Seaforth, Vesta, Wabasso, Walnut Grove, and Wanda.
Rock County Rock County is located southwest of Murray County and is home to the communities of Beaver Creek, Hardwick, Hills, Jasper, Kenneth, Luverne, Magnolia, and Steen. The popular Blue Mounds State Park is located here, which protects a herd of American bison that graze one of the state’s largest remaining prairie grounds.
Lincoln County Slightly northwest of Murray County, you will find the communities of Arco, Hendricks, Ivanhoe, Lake Benton, and Tyler in Lincoln County.
Pipestone County Pipestone County is located west of Murray County and includes communities of Edgerton, Hatfield, Holland, Ihlen, Jasper, Pipestone, Ruthton, Trosky, and Woodstock. Pipestone is perhaps most well-known for Pipestone National Monument, which consists of sacred native grounds surrounded by beautiful pipestone quarries.
Lyon County Lyon County is our neighbor to the north and features towns of our Balaton, Cottonwood, Garvin, Ghent, Lynd, Marshall, Minneota, Russell, Taunton, and Tracy. Marshall is the proud home of Southwest Minnesota State University, as well as to the popular Camden State Park.
Nobles County Nobles County is our neighbor to the south and is home to Adrian, Bigelow, Brewster, Dundee, Ellsworth, Kinbrae, Lismore, Round Lake, Rushmore, Wilmont, and Worthington. Plenty of outdoor recreation opportunities exist in Nobles County as well. Interstate- 90 (I-90) runs past the edge of Worthington, giving residents convenient opportunities to travel.
Murray County We are proud to call Murray County home. It is located deep in the Southwest Corner of Minnesota, where there are lots of outdoor adventures to explore. Murray County is home to Lake Shetek, as well as several other lakes, county parks, public hunting grounds, and more. Slayton is also home to Murray County Medical Center. Towns located in Murray County include Avoca, Chandler, Currie, Dovray, Fulda, Hadley, Iona, Lake Wilson, and Slayton.
